At THRIVEM3 , we strive to guide the youth in a positive direction, away from negative influences with martial arts, music and mentorship.
Our program is designed to end bullying, give members actionable strategies to handle difficult situations with words and actions. We offer services to support mental health, including counseling, support groups and educational workshops to improve all aspects of a positive life. We cater to the ones that are dealing with bullies, the bullies, the youth need someone or something in their life to help.
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved and make a difference in the lives of our youth.
1 in 5 Highschool students will experience bullying, and statistics show bullying in middle school is worse. Being bullied can lead to kids to suffer with depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts and feelings. Without actionable strategies, kids can internalize these feelings and think they are worth nothing.
There is a lack of accessible activities, mentors and positive influence can increase these negative thoughts and feelings. Activities are expensive and are in short supply in our community, leaving a large portion of our youth with no after school activities with a positive solution.
To help fight against the growing bullying issue, and set up our youth members ups for success, we give guidance of our members to have an actionable plan to overcome the negative struggles, and through our program they gain the confidence to succeed in any endeavor.
We provide a multitude of activities for our members, including an anti bullying curriculum, providing verbal jujitsu, and self defense. We provide mentorship where kids can talk openly about their troubles in a safe environment. We have music and art activities, along with various future career options and information, for our youth to be able to express themselves, their problems, hopes, goals and dreams. Our community leaders, business owners, athletes and musicians will come help guide our youth in a positive direction, away from negative influences and create a proactive path for their future.
